Life can be real topsy turvy at best, and at worst it can be real cruel and unforgiving, thus we need to know how to live it with some semblance of balance, and the best way to do that is to seek wisdom and understanding. The kind that comes from God, not what man considers wisdom and understanding, for oftimes that is foolishness when it's compared to what Almighty God has to offer. Consequently, if we want to live a fairly balanced earthly life, with eternal life with Christ in our future, then we have to seek the wisdom and understanding which comes from God and live the way they stipulate. It's not always easy to do, but the rewards at the end are certainly worth the problems we encounter in doing so! Much LOVE!
