Vivian McPeak is a Seattle based social justice activist, media personality, and writer.

Vivian is the president of Seattle Events, a Non-Profit Organization, and executive director of the Seattle HEMPFEST®, historically the world’s largest annual cannabis policy reform rally.

The recipient of the High Times Magazine 2012 Lester Grinspoon Lifetime Achievement Award and DOPE Magazine 2016 Emery Award for lifetime achievement, and in 2016 he was named one of the “50 Most Influential People” by Seattle Magazine. Vivian has appeared on numerous television and cable news networks, including FOX News, CNN, & NBC. McPeak is the host of Hempresent, a weekly radio podcast on Cannabis Radio with listeners on multiple continents.

April Price is the founder of Higher Way Travel—a full service travel agency based in Paso Robles, CA that books 420-friendly vacation packages and hosts custom-curated cannabis experiences both here in the US and internationally.

Originally hailing from Arizona, April got her start in hospitality and tourism working as a fitness and activities director at a luxury resort in Scottsdale. After moving to NYC in 2008, she was hired by CS Travel and became the official travel coordinator for the High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam—not only booking travel arrangements, but providing in-person customer service and logistical support at the events. It was during her six years in this position that she came to realize that there was a huge demand for a trusted source to coordinate cannabis-centric travel. But it wasn’t until 2016, after moving to California, that she decided to act on that knowledge. Given the unexpected opportunity to work with the Hawaii Cannabis Expo, she founded Higher Way Travel and began coordinating travel for several established cannabis events.

Combining her expertise in cannabis, wellness, and tourism, she has since created several unique events such as Baked on the Beach—held during 4/20 week at Coral Cove Resort in Jamaica, Higher Health Retreat in California, and Surf and Terps in Hawaii.

Chris J. Russo’s award-winning short films have screened all over the world, including the Sundance Film Festival, and have been broadcast on Showtime, PBS, IFC, LOGO and NETFLIX. She is a 2018 fellow of the Sundance Institute/Women In Film Financing Intensive with Lady Buds, and is also a fellow of Film Independent’s Director and Screenwriters Labs, with her project, Directed By Dorothy Arzner. Notable short film credits include, A Woman Reported, about the moments before a hate crime occurs; Size ‘em Up, a coming of age story; Straight Down The Aisle: Confessions of Lesbian Bridesmaids, winner of the Outfest Best Short Documentary Award for its poignant view on marriage non-equality (pre-Prop 8); and numerous music videos.
After receiving two art degrees in Photography — a BFA from the University of Buffalo and MFA from the Visual Studies Workshop in Rochester, NY — Russo moved to Hollywood and worked for Kodak for 15 years and as a Post Production Supervisor on over 15 feature films. Russo is an exhibited fine art photographer, with recent group shows in Los Angeles, West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. She has dedicated the last four years to producing and directing Lady Buds, her first feature film which will be having its World Premiere at Hot Docs 2021.

Jude Thilman (pronounce Tilman) is a medicinal cannabis educator and entrepreneur, bringing over 15 years’ experience in the cannabis industry as an advocate/activist. She co-founded Dragonfly Wellness Center in 2011 and is herself a cannabis patient. She comes from a life-long commitment to social change and has been an activist on behalf of many causes, including civil rights, gender and reproductive rights, health care for all, peace and social justice campaigns, and many others.

She has founded and directed 501(c)3 non-profit corporations and national media programs since 1986. She brings 30 years’ experience in the management of complex, multi-dimensional projects and in the production of educational media, for which she has received national awards.

She strongly believes in health care as a human right and sees a return to traditional, herbal medicine as sounding the death knell for a “pharmaceuticals dominant” approach to resolving “dis-ease.”

She serves on the Board of the Mendocino Cannabis Alliance. She served on the steering committee for Measure AF, the effort to end cannabis prohibition in Mendocino County.
