Today’s message centered on The Covenant of Sacrifice, drawn from Psalm 50:5: "Gather to me my faithful ones, who made a covenant with me by sacrifice."

The sermon emphasized the significance of covenants, particularly those made with God. It highlighted that covenants are sacred commitments and should not be taken lightly or broken. Sacrifice plays a key role in establishing these covenants, demonstrating devotion, obedience, and faith. We were reminded that keeping our covenant with God brings blessings, protection, and alignment with His will for our lives.

The power of renewing our covenant with God is a key to transforming our lives. Looking at Deuteronomy 26:5-11 and Exodus 19:3-8, we learned that covenant renewal involves recommitting to God’s principles, expressing gratitude, and walking in obedience. By aligning with His will, we position ourselves for divine intervention and a change of story, experiencing breakthroughs, blessings, and fulfillment of His promises.

Saying 'thank you' requires humility and goes beyond words—it’s about showing appreciation through actions as well. Let’s strive to acknowledge and value the people in our lives, just as 1 Thessalonians 5:18 encourages us to give thanks in everything!

An award is given for personal achievements, but a reward is given for fulfilling an assignment or task. God’s promise of reward is for those who faithfully follow Him and complete the work He has given them. Revelation 22:12 reminds us of Jesus’ words: “Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.” Let us live faithfully, knowing that God’s rewards are sure and just.

God is not afraid of your questions. In fact, He invites them. Through honest enquiry, we draw closer to His wisdom, love, and truth, finding assurance in His presence and promises. Bring your doubts, fears, and wonders to Him—He’s ready to answer and guide.

God is faithful to His promises. He is not a man that He should lie, nor the son of man that He should change His mind (Numbers 23:19). When God speaks, His word does not return void. Even when it seems like time has passed, and all hope is lost, God remembers His covenant and fulfills it in His perfect timing.

We see this truth in the story of Abraham and Sarah. In Genesis 21:1-2, the Bible says, "The Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for Sarah as He had promised. And Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age at the time of which God had spoken to him." Despite their advanced age and Sarah's initial disbelief, God remembered them and gave them Isaac, the child of promise.

So, no matter how long it has been, hold on to your faith. Just as He remembered Abraham and Sarah, God will remember you. His promises are sure, and His timing is perfect. Trust that He will fulfill what He has spoken over your life.

"God often shows up just when it seems like time is running out. Miracles happen when the supernatural power of God responds to the obedience and faith of man. If you need a miracle in your life, pause and ask God, 'Lord, what would You have me do?'

We see this truth beautifully demonstrated in John 2:1-11 at the wedding in Cana. When the wine ran out, Mary instructed the servants to obey Jesus, saying, 'Whatever He tells you, do it.' Their obedience—filling the jars with water despite the seemingly impossible situation—led to the first recorded miracle of Jesus, as He turned the water into the finest wine.

Your obedience, even in what seems simple or mundane, could be the key to unlocking the miraculous in your life. Trust God and follow His leading."

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9

No matter what you're going through, don't be afraid for God knows what he is doing.
