As the first major tournament of the season, Premier Padel’s Riyadh Season P1, commences, we discuss our predictions and expectations for the year; including who will end the season as the number 1 ranked pair; which top 10 pair will be the first to split; will any players beyond the “Big 3” pairs win a tournament; who will be 2025’s most improved player; and more.

We have the pleasure of welcoming Sam Jones, Great Britain’s second-highest ranked padel player, to The Padel Pod once again; as we discuss his beginnings in padel, last season’s highlights and learnings, his opinion on Premier Padel and the International Padel Federation (FIP), and more.

RE-UPLOAD. As players continue their preseason training, Arturo Coello surprisingly announces that Miami and the city’s notorious Reserve Padel club will be his home for the year; and we discuss Premier Padel’s 2025 calendar, involving 25 tournaments across 16 different countries.

A major rumour shocks the padel world, as Juan Lebrón has reportedly decided to part ways with Martín Di Nenno at the end of this season and team up with World Cup hero Leo Augsburger for 2025; thus we discuss thoughts on how the pair will fair, and the potential implications for other players affected by the split.

RE-UPLOAD. Franco Stupaczuk and Mike Yanguas break this season’s trend by making the final of Premier Padel’s Kuwait City P1, beating a disappointing version of Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto in the semifinals; as near-perfect Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia secure their seventh consecutive trophy; and Juan Lebrón and Martín Di Nenno underperform and succumb to in-form youngsters Jairo Bautista and Fran Guerrero.

An in-form Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia extend their match-winning streak to 30 by beating Federico Chingotto and Alejandro Galán in the final of the Dubai Premier Padel P1; as Juan Lebrón and Martín Di Nenno, and Franco Stupaczuk and Mike Yanguas, meet expectations by making the semifinals but fail to put an end to the Golden Boys and Chingalan’s ruthless dominance.
