Our parable for this week, "The Good Samaritan," is well known. So much so that it has become part of our culture. We often call people who demonstrate great sacrifice or exceptional kindness "good samaritans." To call someone, a good Samaritan is quite a compliment.

For most people, this is a story about helping someone in need, but it is much more than that.
