Do you have a favorite book or movie about treasure?

One of Pastor Chris' favorite movies is "National Treasure." There is just something about the treasure hunt, the thrill of decoding the clues, and the wittiness of this movie that he really enjoys.  But treasures aren't just for the movies. We treasure things in this life too. So, what do you treasure?

Jesus knows that what we treasure significantly impacts the choices we make and how we live.

Do you realize that Jesus wants to give you treasures that are so much better than anything this world has to offer? What are they and how can you find them?

In the parables we are going to look at this week, Jesus talks about the great joy his treasures can bring and what He considers to be of value. He not only has treasures to give. He treasures you.

As we talk about treasures in the Kingdom this week, and the ultimate treasure of Jesus and heaven, we're looking forward to the day all will be restored and Jesus returns and we will be in Heaven, singing with all the angels and the saints!
