Having been raised by believing parents, Jay grew up in the faith and came to believe in Jesus at a young age.

He attended Trinity Biblical University and Veritas International University to train before jumping into pastoral ministry. Jay was the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel New Brunswick for 12 years before joining staff in 2015. He has always had a heart for education and training which finds outlets in his work at Calvary Chapel University and in him founding the Northeast Biblical Institute. He currently serves as our Education Pastor, crafting and teaching classes that help people grow in their walk with the Lord. Jay has been married to his wife, Lynda, for 18 years and has two children, Jenna and Josh.
