Complete the Circuit
What if the problem is not that your partner does not want to meet your needs?
What if they simply do not know what you need, or how you want them to give it to you?
This is an experiment for couples who have built enough trust to be honest, vulnerable, and safe with each other.
Ask your person:
“Do you need something from me?”
Then ask:
“Do you know what it is?”
Once they tell you what they need, do not assume you know how to deliver it. Ask them:
“How do you want me to give that to you?”
That question matters because we often love, support, and serve people the way we would want it done. But you are not doing it for yourself. You are doing it for them.
A real connection requires reciprocity. One person cannot continuously give while the other only receives. Both people must have the freedom to speak, the willingness to listen, and the opportunity to be served.
That is how you complete the circuit.
This exercise is not only for romantic relationships. You can try it with your children, your parents, or anyone you share a safe and trusting connection with.

I need at least five people to test this theory for me.
Try it with your person, give each other equal time, and come back to tell me what happened.
