We talk about the impact Netflix is having on the entertainment industry the algorithms they use to determine what they make. We talk about guilty pleasure movies such as Queen of the Damned. Kiel talks about when Kevin Costner was a thing. Also Nic Cage movies and Kiel tells Eric he thinks the Human Centipede is his kind of movies.

This week we have special guest Max who is a lighting designer and programmer for the entertainment industry. Most notably working with Tyler The Creator. Max talks about how he got into the industry, his background as a tinkerer and a DIY person. His passion for old analog equipment and curation of tech. He talks about his process of what he does for various people. Gets technical about what goes into creating a modern stage show and much more all the while we drink Akashi White Oak. Be warned Eric gets really drunk as we drink the whole bottle in the episode.

This week we drink Macallan 12 year while we chat to Lady_Icellina (@lady_icellina_cosplay on IG. Lady Icellina’s Cosplay on Facebook) Cosplay designer and builder. She walks us through how she started making costumes. Everything that is involved in creating them. What drives her to create and perform. She chats with us about her success and what she hopes to contribute to the scene. We also get into conventions and other various nerd things.

In this episode it's just the boys. We get into Kiel's Scotch journey by drinking Macallan's Classic Cut. We discuss Macallan's experimentation, why a thick mouth feel is good and higher proof is the way to go. We review Netflix's movie Polar staring Mads Mikkelsen and Vanessa Hudgens. Finally we give our impressions on Resident Evil 2 remake and wonder how older publisher will pursue their older properties and weather or not this type of remake is the way to go. Kiel directly compares the original Resident Evil Remake against the new one.

We drink St. Pauls 3 year Bourbon from Panther distillery and it takes the trophy as being the worst whiskey we've ever had. Kiel dives deep in retro consoles. The difference between up scaling, emulation going full retro. He gives great advice to those who are looking to get into a new (retro) system and the various ways you can go depending on budget and expectations. He dives into the wonder of the FPGA chip and what's its allowed console makers to do and finally he reviews The ghostly edition of Analogues Super NT.

In this episode we have special guest Amanda from Wine and Crime joins us to drink (attempt to) Japanese whisky Mars Tradition and Talk about the 1991 one classic Silence of the Lambs. We discuss the impact of the movie both on a personal level and the greater culture in general. We dive into how the movie was so important in its time and the are elements that have not aged as well. Also Amanda learns about 3 penis wine and many other funny moments.

We give advice to those who are just starting out in the whiskey game and ways to avoid the hype and develop ones pallet. We get into bottle sex appeal and the amazing Whistle Pig store pick. Kiel Talks about the over-hype and major disappointment that has wrapped up Pappy over the last few years then we finish the episode out with the series review of Bodyguard. Which Eric thought was a reboot of the Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston movie.
