The Vintage Read Show - Literary Likes!

The Parasites By Daphne Du Maurier, Book Selection For August

Listen Later

Our first vintage book club selection is The Parasites by Daphne Du Maurier. From it's explosive opening this wonderful book takes you on an intriguing journey, however it wasn't the book itself that first attracted me to read it! It was the story behind its creation, the setting where Daphene Du Maurier wrote it! The gatehouse of the grand old estate Menabilly on the dramatic Cornwell Coast.
