A first glimpse at the tense drama 12 Angry Men. The book, by Reginald Rose, was first published in 1954 and he went on to write the first TV screenplay. Our first vintage book club selection is The Parasites by Daphne Du Maurier. From it's explosive opening this wonderful book takes you on an intriguing journey, however it wasn't the book itself that first attracted me to read it! It was the story behind its creation, the setting where Daphene Du Maurier wrote it! The gatehouse of the grand old estate Menabilly on the dramatic Cornwell Coast.
