Hi lovely parents,
In this episode, forgive me for the rough edged recording, I was sat in my car with the engine on and didn't realise the sound quality. However, I have been taught not to worry about this and just get it out there.
So tadarrrr...here it is!
I'm sharing this with you as a very important point about how children learn at this stage of their development, essentially through play. Of all the advice in this episode, the biggest point for me is that for children to learn our language, we must simply allow them time to be, time to listen, time to interact and time to develop these skills. And the most important part is that children will learn best from you. You are their parent, first educator and superhero, you can teach them anything!
And if you get stuck, I'm here! If you're struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel, stressing too much and you simply can't find your way, email me at [email protected] and we'll book a 30 minute chin wag to see how I can help you.
You don't have to go it alone. It's a tough job but it doesn't have to be an uphill struggle.
Much love
Sallianne
