I worked at Grace Community Church for close to three years in the Outreach Department before accepting my first pastorate. I had the privilege of seeing John MacArthur minister. He also greatly blessed my family and my ministry. He even had a material impact on the ministry of Hillside Church. Here are my thoughts and reflections based on my experience, including an excerpt from a discussion about reopening Hillside during the pandemic.
