The Pat & Aaron Show

This week's Talkin' Combat with Trey and Carney started with the negative. Let's just say neither is a big fan of WWE's new wildcard rule and are afraid it could signal the end of the brand split. The guys also looked ahead to the huge weekend in MMA and previewed UFC 237 and Bellator 221. They discussed whether Rose Namajunas deserves to be an underdog against Jessica Andrade and whether Anderson Silva should be facing this kind of opponent at this stage in his career.

Thursday's Pat and Aaron Show was a fun one. They talked Rays baseball and some other interesting comments from Tim Anderson of the White Sox. Over/Under also made a permanent move to Thursday afternoons and we found out Aaron Jacobson has never had a blizzard. We also went into the blender with the stories around the country that we might have missed throughout the day.

How much time will JPP miss this season? Where does the Blizzard rank on the list of best ice cream treats? Both of those questions and more were answered in this week's edition of Over/Under.

Andy Freed of Rays radio joined Pat Donovan and Aaron Jacobson on Thursday afternoon. Andy discussed the comments that Tim Anderson made about baseball being boring and why it is so bad for the game. We also discussed with Andy why Tommy Pham might be the MVP of the team so far.

Aaron was back from New Orleans on Tuesday and that wasn't the only reason that it was a big show. The guys dealt with the breaking news that Jason Pierre-Paul could be out for the season with a fractured neck. Greg Auman hopped on and tried to answer some of our questions when it comes to the salary cap. Doug Waechter also joined us to discuss Blake Snell flirting with perfection on Monday night.

Greg Auman of the Athletic joined Pat Donovan and Aaron Jacobson on Tuesday afternoon. Greg tried to answer our questions about what the Jason Pierre Paul injury could mean for the Bucs from a salary cap perspective and if this could open the door for Gerald McCoy to return.

Doug Waechter of Fox Sports Sun joined Pat Donovan and Aaron Jacobson on Tuesday afternoon. Doug discussed Blake Snell's performance from Monday night. He also discussed how big the signing of Charlie Morton was to the team.

Aaron was still in New Orleans so Pat and Trey held down the fort on Monday. The guys discussed Gerald McCoy's rant against his haters, whether Blake Snell's next start is make or break, and why the Carolina Hurricanes are the team to root for with the Bolts out of the playoffs.

Friday's show with Pat Donovan and Aaron Jacobson was all about fun! The guys started the fun when comedian, Vicki Barbolak stopped by IN STUDIO! The fun continued when we went through our headlines of the week and the blooper reel! We didn't stop there as the birthday boy, Steve Carney joined us as he will every Friday afternoon. We also debuted a segment of rapid fire topics called the blender!

In this week's edition of Headlines of The Week we find out Paul McCartney doesn't always have good ideas, there is a roller coaster in New Jersey that isn't that safe, and where you can find Kentucky Derby poop! This week's blooper reel was also full of Aaron's love connection with Hector.
