Broadcasting legend and current ABC 7 broadcaster, Spencer Christian, stops by our studio to discuss his most recent book, "You Bet Your Life: How I Survived Jim Crow Racism, Hurricane Chasing, and Gambling", with Pat. Spencer gives details about his life before being a broadcaster and what it was like growing up in a poor black family in the Jim Crow South. He also talks about his own personal experiences with President Donald Trump and how he came to ask Trump for $100,000. 

Pat is joined by New York Times Bestseller, Kenneth C Davis, and the two discuss Kenneth's latest book "More Deadly Than War: The Hidden History of the Spanish Flu and the First World War". The book talks in great detail about the 1918 flu that went around the world and what it was like living in those times. Pat asks Kenneth questions about this moment in history and also questions about a possible future pandemic. 

Pat is joined by legendary Bay Area Film Critic, Tim Sika, and the two discuss a few movies that have recently been released. In this segment, Pat discusses an unfortunate situation that occurred in Arkansas, where a preschool teacher instructed her students to throw rocks at another student, who was only 3 years old, when he did not sit down when the teacher instructed him to do so. This incident was recorded by a fellow teacher's smartphone and local police are now investigating the situation. Pat discusses how what this teacher did is not only despicable, but how she is teaching her young students something terrible. What would you do if this happened to your child? 

Pat discusses Monica Lewinsky, after she was recently uninvited to an event she was supposed to be attending, after former President Bill Clinton accepted an invitation to the same event. Pat discusses whether she believes Lewinsky was wrongly uninvited and also ponders if Ms. Lewinsky is truly a feminist hero or just someone who is notable for doing something wrong.
