Dave Weale is the founder of Alpha Rising Menswork and the podcast Men Doing the Work. He's a men’s coach and breathwork facilitator. After his career as a professional skier ended with breaking his neck in 2012, he discovered a passion for healing, personal and spiritual growth and men’s work. Dave is on a mission to support men in rising up to be better husbands, fathers, and leaders and create more fulfillment in their lives.

In this conversation David and I discuss the importance of doing the work and why it’s critical that more men take this on. We share our own personal experience of what it’s been like to make some major shifts in our live’s and what we've learned along the way.

Andrew has spent many years in the dark, both physically and energetically. He worked in nightlife for 15+ years and dealt with the late nights in a dangerous way.
His toxic habits nearly cost him everything, and it was when he finally hit rock bottom that he made the choice to change.

Since choosing a healthier lifestyle and a new career path, Andrew has created events, festivals and soon a community to support those who are looking to live a conscious and spiritual lifestyle 

He’s the co-founder of TMRW TDAY and the newly launched La Aldea residences and community.

Andrew’s path of purpose is making a massive impact helping people not only live a healthier lifestyle but also to live a life in true community and connection.

His story is a beautiful reminder that anyone can find their way out of the darkness and shine their light to lead others.

Mike and I have lived parallel lives in many ways as we’re both hospitality veterans who left Canada for the jungles of Costa Rica. He’s the owner of the iconic Nosara restaurant Beach Dog, The Sacred Playground, and his all-vegan cafe Symbiosis.

His journey has taken him on some interesting twists and turns which has resulted in him opening several venues here in Nosara and also learning the process of serving sacred plant medicine along the way.

Mike opened The Sacred Playground as a location where people can feel safe to explore their deepest layers through dance, nature, and ceremonial gatherings.

His story is truly fascinating and his path is very inspiring for those that are in search of their purpose and looking to find their true calling.

Giovanni is the living example that if you don’t love your career and you dread going to work everyday, you can discover and develop a new skill that will totally change your life. He walked away from his corporate career when he discovered the power of breathwork. After training with Wim Hoff and becoming the first certified Canadian facilitator, he knew that he wanted to share this powerful modality with as many people as he possibly can. He took the leap and created the Elemental Wellness studio, and developed his own unique style of breathwork called Elemental Rhythm. Giovanni is now teaching and training others to become a certified Elemental Rhythm facilitator as well.

This is an extraordinary episode that I'm excited to share. Chris is someone significant in my life as he's the person who gave me my first job in Miami in 1997. Over the years, he's continued to inspire me with his many endeavours, including Liquid, Bar Room, Joia, and Anatomy.
