Hemaji shares with devotees the correct way to take Baba's Udi. Udi is the sacred ash with miraculous restorative and medicinal properties. Devotees know the significance of Baba's Udi and use it with faith and devotion. Hemaji stresses on the importance of its correct usage, such as applying it on the forehead before leaving home, mixing a small quantity in water and leaving it overnight before consuming it, mixing it with oil and using it for external application to cure aches and pains, the use of Udi to relieve common disorders such as coughs, colds, constipation, etc. She also tells us to use Udi regularly and not expect overnight cures, reminding us that Baba asked devotees to have Shraddha and Saburi in life.

Hema Teotia, an intimate devotee of Baba, offers guidance on how devotees should read the Sai Satcharita. It can be read everyday, or in its entirety in a week or a month, alone or in a group. One can even do the Parayan (the reading from the beginning to the end) on behalf of someone who is unable to do it.
