This week Derrick and Jason take a look at Jonah 2 and the hollow prayer that we see recorded there. You may also notice that this week's episode has a theme.

This week Derrick and Jason look at the rest of the story of Jonah on the ship with the sailors that culminates with Jonah being swallowed by a large fish.  There are some important lessons for us to learn from the responses of both Jonah and the sailors.

This week Derrick and Jason make the move from John to Jonah as we begin to consider an incredible object lesson in obedience.  As we begin to walk through Jonah we will see what disobedience and obedience look like as we seek to live out the Christian life.

This week Derrick and Jason finish our time in John's Gospel.  We see a picture of how the path that Jesus has been on has great effect on the paths that we walk as well.  The resurrection power of Jesus allows us to be restored to Him, and we have to choose whether or not we will follow in obedience.

This week we reach the pinnacle of the path that we have been open for the past 13 weeks.  Derrick and Jason look at John 20 and the resurrection, and we see that it elicits a response from us.

This week, Derrick and Jason consider the crucifixion of Jesus.  It was a somber moment that is displayed graphically in John's gospel.  However, it is an event in which we find incredible hope as followers of Christ.

This week Derrick and Jason look at the first half of John 19.  There is an interesting struggle for authority that we see in these verses.  We talk about the true authority in all of our lives.

This week Derrick and Jason look at John 18 as the path to the cross begins to intensify quickly. They take the opportunity to think on the great faithfulness of Jesus to do what the Father had told him to do, and how he is faithful in our lives today.

This week Derrick and Jason move to John 17.  This is a transition chapter in the path toward the cross.  Jesus moves from teaching and preparing His disciples to facing the cross head on.  But it is a very important chapter as we see the focus of Jesus' work on the cross: God's glory.

Derrick and Jason take a look this week at the impact that Jesus' teaching has on our outlook on life.  Our sorrow will be turned to joy as we seek after Jesus on the path to eternity.  We can find joy in the midst of adversity if we remain in Jesus.
