Join us on The Path as we hike through the Bible. Each day will have two episodes, one being the reading only, the other being comments, observations, and applications for our personal life journey. In the English speaking world we are blessed with numerous translations of the Bible. From my limited Greek and Hebrew studies in seminary, I know that all of the current translations are accurate, and differences in wording are usually slight and have no bearing on changing the meaning. I grew up on the King James, which I love and still use. I also use the New King James, New American Standard, English Standard Version, New English Translation, New Living Translation, God's Word Translation, New International Version. I know quite a few of the translators of the various versions and know their commitment to the inerrancy of Scripture and of the Inspiration of the Bible. For this recording, I have selected the English Standard Version due to its readability for recording.
