The Paul McLoone Show

Paul McLoone travelled back in time to 1967 on the exact day The Beatles Released Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Paul McLoone met Johnny Marr when he came to Dublin to launch his album. They talk about the meaning of his new album 'Call The Comet', how he fronts his band, the legacy of The Smiths and singing those songs live.

Have a listen above.

They first released an album called 'Inherit' back in 2014 and now are releasing more stunning music. Join Me In The Pines joined us at Marconi House to record a truly special session.

Oh Yeah Ash Tookover The Paul McLoone Show

Ash have a whopper new album out called 'Islands', so called because Tim Wheeler, Ash front man, wrote the songs on a series of Islands.

The cover is even Skellig Michael but upside down because of their love of Star Wars.

Anyway! The band came in for a chat with Paul McLoone and picked some amazing songs as part of our takeover series. They also let us in on a story about a wild night involving hotel lobbies, tour buses, The Doobie brothers and getting arrested!
