In episode 12, the PBP Podcast has their first guest on the show! Mic Jordan, the host of the 140 Characters Podcast, and who also happens to be Sydney's boyfriend.

The first topic of conversation was regarding singer/ songwriter Billie Eilish. Billie was recently in the news due to an interview she did on the Howard Stern Show and openly admitted that she started watching porn at a very young age and said it, "destroyed her brain."

The three of us briefly talk about the Ghislaine Maxwell trial and the reason it has not been televised, as well as, who and what hangs in the balance if the jury comes back with a guilty verdict.

We also discuss West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin and his opposition to President Biden's Build Back Better bill and how it will affect the residents of West Virginia.

Lastly, we talk about music and artists who influenced us the most throughout the early 2000s during our teenage and high school years!

  • France is in Italy
Hannah and Sydney discuss the tragic shooting that happened at a high school in Oxford County, Michigan on November 30th, that left 4 students dead and at least 8 injured. Did the high school administrators do everything in their power to prevent this tragedy from happening, and when is enough, enough? They also talk about the major US Supreme Court case that will more than likely overturn Roe v. Wade entirely and will deny women access to safe and legal abortions in the United States.

  • Dababy is daworst
For this very informal eighth episode, we briefly discuss the high-profile case regarding Kyle Rittenhouse, who is currently standing trial and facing six felony charges if found guilty by the jury of his peers. Rittenhouse illegally obtained an AR-15 and shot three men, killing two, and wounding the third. Kyle who was 17 at the time, lived in Illinois with his mom, drove him to Kenosha, Wisconsin during Black Lives Matter demonstrations in protest of police brutality after 29-year-old Jacob Blake was shot 7 times in the back by Kenosha police on August 23, 2020. We also discuss the altercation that unfolded on Instagram Live between DaBaby and DaniLeigh. The two had been in a relationship in early 2020 and seemed to have worked things out after DaniLeigh had given birth to their (now) 3-month-old daughter. Finally, we talk about the struggles that millennials face while working for Baby Boomer and GenX bosses in small businesses or in corporate America setting and how we, as Generation Y, are innovating and paving the way for future generations to be content creators and demand they deserve more and never settle for less.

We also have a conversation about trust issues in relationships, being called 'crazy,' having friends of the opposite sex, spotting the red flags in your partner, and when it's time to leave.

Lastly, the ladies talk about Virginia's election that was held last Tuesday (Nov. 2nd) and their biggest fears of what could possibly happen to women's rights in the Commonwealth.

‼️ SPOILER WARNING ‼️ This episode contains spoilers in reference to the very successful Netflix show 'YOU' Time Stamp begins at 21:20-37:07. After a short break, Hannah & Sydney are back to discuss their much-needed, week-long breather and how Mercury Retrograde affected them in their personal lives, as well as, some things they are very much looking forward to the future with their ever-growing podcast. The girls also address the very strange & almost cringey relationship between Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, after Megan posted a bizarre Instagram caption with photos the couple posed for, during a photoshoot with British GQ.

On top of that, Hannah & Sydney share their thoughts & feelings regarding the popular NETFLIX series 'YOU' and its newest installment (3) that was released earlier this month (October 21). Finally, the girls give a major update on the Gabby Petito Case and the ongoing search for her fiancé Brian Laundrie. Brian disappeared on September 13th after telling his parents, Chris & Roberta, that he was going hiking at the Carlton Reserve in Sarasota, Florida. Ten days after his disappearance, Brian had a warrant out for his arrest for bank fraud, after he used his fiancee's (Gabby's) debit card following her death.

During the month of October, we are continuing to donate our ad revenue to the Gabby Petito Foundation to help spread awareness for domestic violence.
