In this episode, we get an opportunity to tell the story of Loveland High School Principal, Todd Ball, who recently announced his retirement at the end of the 2020-21 school year--having devoted over 30 years to education and 11 years to LHS, specifically. From his aspirations as a Marine Biologist to discovering a love and passion for education; from teaching throughout the Thompson School District and coaching student-athletes, there is quite a bit to cover. 

Apparent by the stories about Todd Ball from people who have known him for quite some time--that includes Oreo cookies and Fantasy Football, Mr. Ball has some, dare we say, invisible aspects that make his departure unimaginable. As a final farewell, we'll attempt to unveil a little bit more about our departing principal who has guided us and lead us admirably. 

We will also hear from the man himself about where he’s been? What his journey has been like. And what's next? The short answer just might be...sleep!

Student Producer, Aaron Koso, explores the notion of Genius Hour, an Independent Study at Loveland High School where students brainstorm and "Launch" ideas to enhance the school in some fashion. Ideas revolve around artwork, murals, ticket booths, podcasting, and much more. Students take the opportunity to research, produce, and exhibit an idea they have been working on for months. Aaron catches voices of students who are engaged in a project, as well as Danny Hollweg, and Principal Todd Ball on the skills of this independent study.
