The People's School presents a translated lecture (originally Spanish) by comrade Luis Corvalán. Corvalán was the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Chile from 1958 until 1990. Corvalán was a political prisoner in Pinochet's Chile and received the Lenin Peace Prize following the fall of the Allende government. Comrade Corvalán passed away in July of 2010 at the age of 93.
