After such a long break between seasons - we're back (in Melbourne) with some of our all time favoites.  We both give high praise to the new show format, Rand is especially pleased with "The Mission".  Reg is baffled by Gio's everyday existance.  Devin and Rashida reign supreme as the pod's favorites in the house.  Finally, we go couple by couple and speculate who this season will "steal" at "The Choice".

Special guest Anth joins the podcast as we recap a Curry-filled episode of the Challenge.  We all touch on the party scene and the house prank overreactions.  Rand and Jimmy yet again debate Bananas' motives & legacy.  Anth brings up the connection between Under Armour and the (Steph) Curry challenge. A red-faced, Nelson-filled elimination leaves us craving a Champ week.  Finally, we go off the rails near the end and touch on Nelson's family, Club Penguin & Impractical Jokers.

Well that was quite a season, and I think we're all still recovering from the "two hour adrenaline rush", which is a quote from...our very first guest! Our loyal listener Allison took us up on our request for her to come on and she brings a fantastic mini breakdown right off the top. Our longest episode yet covers the final challenge, truth booth, and match up, and raises questions about production's role in the outcome of the game. Fashion Corner touches on the wide range of Match Up Looks, and Rand shows off her wordsmith skills in a rhythmically pleasing send off to Season 5.

Finally, a Champs Challenge and Elimination! We're elated to end the hours of house drama footage and get down to real competition. We touch on Laurel comforting Jenna.  Rand & Jimmy debate Banana's sly move in the Challenge.  Zach says goodbye (for now) to Feminist Corner.  We're shocked to find CT in street clothes at the Fortress and praise Darrells intense and impressive victory.

This week's episode was explosive, and our breakdown reflected that when Rand had an explosive laugh attack while discussing the Getaway Challenge. (Long story, but we had to cut a full minute of her attempts to talk through debilitating fits of giggling.) While Derrick may have set the record for most heavily featured cast member on a single episode in Are You The One? History, we still have a lot going on here: The Strategy (which was credited to Derrick, but masterminded by Kari), the end of Kathryn and Michael's three-day whirlwind romance, and the cuteness of Cas and Joey is, much like her messy buns, ruffled by Hannah. Our daters got NINE BEAMS even though Shannon goes against the strategy grain, and we bring you the return of an old segment called Dramatic Readings.

Reg tries to be hopeful that this season can prevail - while Jimmy and Rand pick apart the many pitfalls of this episode.  Zach, once again, finds himself in feminist corner.  We say a tearful goodbye to Tony and celebrate Shane's first elimination victory.  Finally, we speculate who will be leaving us next week & preview our previous season recaps in future episodes.

Episode 8 brings us what is possibly the most productive moment of any Are You The One? season (including Devin's solo cup experiment from season 3 - Rand didn't mention Kiki and Devin, so consider this unnecessary mention her filling the quota), when the cast organized a therapeutic exercise we're calling, "Pink Pillow Talk". Also, on top of this action packed episode we delve into the Aftermatch, mainly because they seem to have entirely bailed on adding America's Next Top Model and really, we should have been watching all along. Despite Rand's current battle with whooping cough, Reggie carries us through our eighth breakdown.

We finally delivered on our promise to bring back our one and only guest, Jimmy, in the third official Challenge Special episode. If you're wondering why our "breakdown" is longer than the actual program, it's because...Rand - but also because we added our live fantasy draft on the back end.  We can't help but gush about our Champs, Jimmy gives Rand a real debate over Johnny Bananas, and Jimmy is way on board to join Rand in Feminist Corner.
