The Perfect Match Podcast: An Are You The One & The Challenge on MTV Podcast

Rand and Reg dive into Episode 2 of Ex On The Beach, as well as the last 3 Jersey Shore's (Episodes 4, 5, 6).  While most of the episode takes place in feminist corner, we specifically bring up Cory's accusations, Ronnie's detrimental actions, and Vinny's toppling of Dina.  We finally find a soft spot for Derrick as he steps up the plate, admire Chris's brains, and properly put Angela in her place.  On the Shore, Rand finds joy in JWoww's one liners, Reg recaps Ronnie's awkward, mumble filled phone call with his gf, and we give the low down on some recent Instagram lives that may have opened the door for a certain Sweetheart to return.

Rand and Reg break down the entire first two episodes of Ex On The Beach.  While intially confused about the concept, format, timing, incentive, narrator, host and other things, we finally find a reason for this show to exist.  Topics include Chris's Uncle, Derrick and Angela's breakup, Taylor as a Parent Trap-esque Step Mom, the guiding light cast members, and Cam Kolbo's cringeyness.  Finally, we go on a huge tangent breaking down Reg's ban of super hero movies in his twenties.

NEXT WEEK - We will be back with BOTH Jersey Shore & Ex On the Beach and dive into both equally.  Keep the tweets comin', we'll read each and every one of them next week!  Thanks as always for subscribing and listening!

Back on our new night covering Jersey Shore Family Vacation & Ex On The Beach!  We go over being reunited with the JS Crew, how Vin is the worst, why Ron keeps shitting, Mike's legal situation, Paulie effortless joy and Sam being MIA.  We then briefly touch on the Ex on the Beach casting special hosted by Johnny Bananas and Natalie, what we're excited about the show & go over some of the familiar faces we'll be reunited with.  Lastly, we dive into Parent Corner with a story about our daughter sticking things in her nose.

Keep the tweets comin'! @PerfectMatchPod We'll be back every Thursday recapping these two shows.

Reg and especially Rand fume over the lack of finale reveal, and how this is the last straw for MTV Production in teasing its fans.  We touch on how the Miz hasn't changed at all during any of his hosting tryouts, and reminisce on when he was simply known as Mike.  We then quickly hit on Leroy/Tony, Marie/Britni, Bananas/Note, and the reunion format in general before giving out our season awards for best moment, breakout challenger, and more.  Lastly, we close out with our schedule, let's get social, and a discussion on reality TV.

Future schedule:  We'll be periodically covering both Ex on the Beach and Jersey Shore on Thursdays nights!  Keep the tweets comin' and let everyone know that the Perfect Match Podcast is going strong in the AYTO offseason!

It appears as if MTV has finally created one last Vendetta for itself: the fans; by implementing the worst cliffhanger to date.  Rand and Reg breakdown the Final as well as last week's episode.  We discuss the cliffhanger, the castle, the incredible amount of running Bananas returning, Melissa's vampiric/sexual actions, Kyle/LeRoy performances, Nicole's injury, the Challenge Video Game and Preacher Nelson.  We'll be back next week to breakdown the final/reunion and speculate future of the show.

Keep the tweets comin!  @PerfectMatchPod

With Bananas gone, the sketchiness of Zach and Tony has come to light and Rand is fuming (so is Reg), so there's a rant about that.  After snoozing through the Rhonda challenge we also pitch some new ideas for MTV and speculate on some exciting rumors for Season 32 casting.   Enjoy and as always thanks for listening!

We fail miserably in attempting to pop a bottle of Champagne following this legendary episode of the Challenge.  While basking in Devin's victory & Tony's bold move, we break down every possible aspect of Kayleigh vs Kailah (thank god we won't continue to trip over their names), from Natalie & Nelson's disinterest, to Brad and Brittni's urges, to the entire casts's definitions, to Kayleigh's outing of Natalie on social media.  Things go off the rails a bit toward the end as we talk about school principal treasure chests & stickey hands, the Challenge adopting Second Chance's Winners Suite, & another Rand Banana-rant.

Keep the tweets comin & give us the Banana-man!

For the first time in years, we have our first "I want to watch the next episode right now" moment for the Challenge.  Rand and Reg recap last week's unbelievably gut wrenching elimination between Joss & Derrick.  Reg fears for Joss's future on the show.  Rand digs in deep on Kailah's political struggles in the game.  We thank the lord for TJ's fashion choice during the Challenge before speculating on what the hell happens next week.

Rand & Reg recap the last two episodes of the Challenge: Vendettas.  We touch on a new corney (thanks Riley), #ConfusingProductionCorner in regards to Sylvia's departure and Marie's Troika strategy.  Rand discusses the behind-the-scenes possibilities with Bananas concocting the note & the plug of his atrocious sweatshirt.  Reg tangents about what the end goal of the money is, and we wrap up with Let's Get Social as well as those ridiculous Fear Factor commercials putting phones in blenders!  Keep tweetin us & searching ecosia.org to plant some trees!

A little Challenge Snack here for ya!  Rand and Reg lament the slow pace of the first 5 episodes, but are (probably wrongfully) hopeful that the Challenge gods will turn it around for us.  We talk about Brad's recent fall from grace but reminisce on the moments that made him the hero he used to be.  Rand comments on Marie's frazzled antics during the Inquisition.  Reg remains confused as to why the house ganged up on Mel.  Finally we recap an elimination for the ages, recap Let's Get Social, & look forward to next week!
