The Perfect Puzzle

In keeping with my annual tradition of spoiling of another popular Christmas tradition, here's an offering for you. You may have heard or read about my take on how the shepherds found the baby Jesus but this version takes the Nativity story as Luke tells it at face value and explains what Luke really says. As you listen to this, remember, we always place ourselves in the historical setting of the story and not our 21st century version of the story. I hope you find it enjoyable. The narration voice isn't mine but the information presented is mine.

It tackles the classic argument regarding God's goodness versus the existence of evil by asserting that Satan currently rules the world, and God's apparent delay in judgment is an act of patience and mercy to allow time for salvation. The text then focuses on the event of the seventh trumpet, which signifies the completion of God's mystery—the full revelation of Christ and the establishment of His eternal kingdom. Finally, it uses the biblical account of John consuming a scroll to illustrate the necessity for believers to fully appropriate and assimilate God's Word, which contains both the sweetness of salvation and the bitterness of impending judgment, urging them to actively share this truth with a world in need of hope.
