Bart van Olphen used to travel the world and cook with small and local fisheries to express his love for fish. These small fishing communities asked him for help.

Meiny Prins, de CEO of Priva is here for the final episode of '16 minutes of CARE'. Meiny is the CEO of Priva, a company that helps save energy and resources to grow people and plants in perfect environments. Meiny was elected ‘businesswomen of the year’ in 2009 but she believes that leadership is not about gender, nor about your position in the company but all about having a shared passion. She launched a foundation called: Sustainable Urban Delta and explains in this podcast why she did this. Cities all around the world consist of urban centers and rural green belts around them. Often a city has brownfields, which are old and abandoned industrial fields in cities. Meiny considers the Netherlands the 1st food-producing city in the world. With 17 million inhabitants, the Netherlands has the same scale as New York. This and more fascinating innovative ideas on the future of cities, food, buildings, and how anyone can make a positive impact are the topics of this final episode with the visionary CEO of Priva. Meiny Prins is our guest in this 3rd episode of '16 minutes of CARE', the podcast of the Care Principles. Meiny is the CEO of Priva, a high-tech company that develops hardware, software, and services in the field of climate control, energy saving, and optimal reuse of water. They are a Dutch family-owned business but operate all over the world.
Isabel Verstraete asks Meiny what she thinks about Collaboration and Agility, 2 shifts that are embedded into the CARE strategic framework.
For Meiny, collaboration is always about creating a win-win situation. If not everyone gains from it, it’ll not work.
Agility is for her linked to innovation and the many and fast changes in the tech world. Tech is evolving very fast so Priva is continuously updating its systems and training its people. Meiny admits that can be challenging and can put pressure on the organization.
Make sure you will also listen to the 4th and final episode with Meiny as there we will dive deeper into her personal mission: the Sustainable Urban Delta, an initiative in which she positions the Netherlands as the most ecological CITY in the world.
