Lisa is known for her improvisation which is driven by rhythm, expression and harmony, inspired by a range of nations. She is a founding member of the all female vocal group, Coco's Lunch and she is a passionate and engaging workshop leader and lecturer at Box Hill Institute.
This conversation centres around her view of improvisation and her performance motto, "listen and respond." This formula gives Lisa the freedom to create in the moment, to work with and around any mistakes as they happen.
Lisa says, "great ideas often come in unexpected moments." So perhaps we should allow more room for these great ideas by expecting less perfection and allowing ourselves to be open to whatever happens to our plans. Lisa reminds us to stay grateful for the opportunity.
