Proverbs 6:9-9:11 - In the message of last Sunday, the Lord directed us to the ants to learn valuable lessons of Team work, striving for competence, diligence and practice of delayed gratification.

All these lessons were meant to make us wise and help us receive insights that will elevate and launch us into greatness in life.

In the text, lazy or slothful people were being advised to stop their laziness which would no doubt lead to poverty and demotion in life. Instead, they should tow the path that will lead to their greatness as they learn from the ants. We see clearly in our text that slothfulness is a great enemy of elevation.
