I heard a Rush Limbaugh show awhile ago about the habit of liberals, particularly progressive liberals, call conservatives epithets such as stupid, dumb, ignorant, deplorable, and so forth and so on. I had to ask myself why is that so? Why do they call us stupid?!

It is just so peculiar because conservatives do not do that to liberals. That is, they do not use pejorative adjectives to denote stupidity when speaking of liberals.

So why is it? And why is it that it happens so one-sidedly?

An interesting segment on the fox network’s Tucker Carlson show aired last week about America being taken over by totalitarianism as a result of the coronavirus spreading throughout the US.

Tucker Carlson through his various guests pointed out that the American governors of the various states have arrogated totalitarian rights to make the people of their states subservient to the directives of the governors’ offices.

Let’s take a look at a partial recording or airing of this segment. 

My reaction is to concur with Tucker. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that the states or the federal government has a right to take the country albeit on an emergency basis into the state’s totalitarian behavior.

So the question is: in the face of an emergency - and it’s debatable whether the coronavirus presents an emergency - does the government and the various states have the right to accrue to themselves the powers to control the citizenry, close businesses, close parks, self quarantine at home, and basically make people inactive or to make them do anything that the governor’s office deems they should do?

This week we are going to talk a video we saw that was presented by Prager University.  

The video was entitled "The Market Will Set You Free." It was an excellent video. It pulls up graphs, facts, and history to show that Free Market Capitalism is responsible for the rise of wealth and the decline of poverty worldwide. The video does a great job!

It also talks about the reason that the U.S. was the first to embrace Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations, free market capitalism and consequently the first nation to rapidly increase its wealth and reduce it?s poverty. 

Why? What does the U.S. Constitution have to do with it? Well, in today's episode, we will pick up pick up where the video ends it's a cogent story.

We will talk about China and why the Communist Party does not tell the truth and responds harshly in general when it encounters something it doesn't like. A good example of this is the China Virus. It can't even tell the truth about that. It is considered a state secret as noted in The Epoch Times.

* Look at Hong Kong. Look at how harsh and severe it responds to those who want freedom.

* Look how it has been stealing US technology from its universities.

So, why do they do it? And, the reason is that they are totalitarian. And, we should probably ask ourselves why is that a factor.
