I used to hate my grandmother's photo wall. I found it annoying and ridiculous. Now, as a mother, I understand the value of the photo wall. It's a place where your family can be reminded of the good things in life. Where the narrative of your life is on display as a reminder that life isn't too bad. And that is why I now have a photo wall.
