The PicPod

This is the first of 9 (!) Singapore Specials. Arparna Hoskote is an intensivist from Great Ormond St Hospital in London. She presented part of a debate asking if Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) should be a necessary part of PIC monitoring.

It was a really interesting debate. This is not new technology: so why hasn’t it been adopted? What is missing?

PicPod4 is based around an interview with Betsy Hunt, associate professor and director of Johns Hopkins Simulation Centre.

Betsy has some brilliant, simple ideas of how to improve our CPR practice. These are things we can do tomorrow.
