The Pilgrims and the Indians laid the groundwork for one of America’s favorite holidays, Thanksgiving.  Plymouth Rock, the Mayflower, weird hats with buckles, and of course, the big feast, painted a picture of harmony and unity between the new settlers and the natives.  But what was this scene really like?  Was the New World the first choice for the Pilgrims?  Did the Pilgrims live up to their end of the bargain to the people that financially backed their voyage?  Fill that paper plate full of turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes and enjoy this Thanksgiving episode of AHC Podcast.
