The Pinball Podcast

Hey, while you probably weren't, and we definitely weren't invited to either the Stern or Deeproot events, we do invite you to listen to the show. We discuss Punny Factory, Deeproot, JJP, Stern, P3, balls, game delivery drama, and the brilliance of Nick Baldridge along with a few more very important topics in this, the 133rd episode, of The Pinball Podcast.

Yep, we're back. We know it's been over a year, but don't act like you actually missed us. Life, the world, and pinball has seen a lot of changes over the last year, so we try our best to get our feet back in the podcasting door and catch up. Please to enjoy our podcast offering!

Jessica and Jeff answer all the important questions in this episode, such as if it's Pinburgh yet. It is not Pinburgh yet. Sorry.

We do have a Pinball Popcorn, courtesy of Joe Zenkus this episode!

We're back!

After taking a little break to cope with some heavy life stuff (job changes, new business launches, travel, death of friends, brushes with suicidal urges, medical care, financial distress, family obligations, and all sorts of other joyful things), we're back on the mics and we have a new show for you.

The Evel has landed...

Joe Zenkus has a new Pinball Popcorn for us, but we're saving it for the next show, which will be a lot more lighthearted than this one. Thanks, Joe, we're excited to roll that one out!

Look forward to talk on this episode of NWPAS, RMPS, Nitro Pinball, the end of the Evel travels, Chris Franchi, and quite a bit more!

Jessica is back from Australia after competing in the ACS and a few other events. Amid all the excitement, Jeff and Jessica realized that they did a very bad job planning for upcoming pinball shows and have to pay for that mistake....literally pay for it.

We also discuss other things. Pinball things.

It's our first episode of 2019 and we have some fun stuff going on. Jessica is heading back to Australia to compete in the ACS and try to become the Australian pinball champion. At worst, we just want her to end up as the highest finishing podcaster. We also discuss The Munsters, both of us having had a chance to get good time on the game.

If you want to support Jessica's trip to Australia by buying some Belles and Chimes swag, reach out and we'll be happy to get you hooked up. We'll get back to a more regular schedule soon. Thanks for listening!

Episode 127 is a true quick hitter that is about half as long as a normal episode, but we missed you little groundhogs too badly to not get on the mics. We talk about what we've been up to, intro a new listener feedback segment, and giggle out the remaining time. Oh, we also touch on Primus Pinball.

On this episode we discuss cool additions to gamerooms that go beyond the games themselves. We offer up some of our ideas and we take some suggestions from readers, including this crazy hidden switch sculpture below from Dr. John.

We also touch on a few recent happenings in pinball, including The Beatles stuff, Oktoberfest reactions, and a what we've been up to. Please enjoy this one.

Episode 125 arrives and we bring an old favorite segment from the past. Featured Five is back, and we discuss the act of putting the ball into play, usually known as plunging. Like any good Featured Five, we cheat the number a bit and give a few extra shoutouts.

Also, we're looking for more ideas for show topics and Featured Five lists. Email us at [email protected] if you have any ideas. On the next show, we'll be discussing things that are great additions to game rooms that aren't games themselves. Let us know what you've got.

Jess and Jeff are back together and have a new direction for the show...and we want your help and input! But first, hear us struggle through a few explanations and emotions. Thanks to all who supported both of us through the last couple of months of our ups and downs. It has meant a lot.

We need your help coming up with a new logo. With the new direction for the show, we're looking to slightly rebrand, so help us out and we'll reward you with CASH MONIES (actually gift cards, but whatever). Listen in for details.
