When we find ourselves in the storms and trials of life, we must remember that we are not alone. God will lead us through each hardship we face. In fact, the Bible tells us that God will not test us beyond our power to remain strong. Through Him and Him alone, can we do all things. Join us today to be encouraged and blessed.

Abiding in Jesus is the only way we can access the power to get through the storms of life. What are you abiding in? He is the source of our endurance and joy as we go through the trials that life brings. We can’t refuse the fact that we live in a fallen world, but we do have a choice. In the midst of our trials and tribulations, where do we turn and what do we pull from as our source of strength? Sarcasm. The Bible says that there is the power of life and death in the tongue. This means that there are both positive and negative consequences that we can reap. Sarcasm can plague unity.

Beginning new relationships can be uncomfortable and hard. But once there are common interests found, a friendship is born.  A clique is defined as, “a small group of people who spend their time together and do not welcome other people into that group.” James clearly states that we must not show favoritism, this applies more so even inside of the church! Join us today as Pastor Matt tackles how we can steer away from cliques and be welcoming to others by showing Christ’s love.

Tearing someone down will never give you a step up in life. Proverbs 16:28 says that “gossip separates the best of friends.” It is a serious matter, and one that often gets dismissed in the church. Today we dive into the dangers of gossip, but also ways we can learn to shut it down and avoid it. In turn, our relationships will be healthier and we will be unified as a church!

Where there is unity, God commands His blessing! Once we learn to unify as one body, one church, and one people, God can do the impossible. Each person has a specific role to play in the body, each part is necessary. Tune in today as Pastor Matt and Jess share with us!
