Alice Driver is a journalist and writer. Her work has appeared in National Geographic, Oxford American, Columbia Journalism Review and many more. The child of parents who were and still are part of the back to the land movement, her childhood was spent crawling in dirt and exploring the world of the Ozarks. These days you can find her in Mexico and we talk about writing, immigration, and the mental fatigue of being a journalist in the world today.
