The Pirate Studios Podcast

The Pirate Studios LA team speaks with Jordan Smith, founder of S+ MGMT, an artist management company, and co-founder of lo-fi label, Arden Records.

They talk about getting into the management game, identifying new artists, different management styles, the importance of having diverse genres of music on your roster, and what Jordan thinks it takes to make it as an artist, beyond just having talent. We get to listen to a new track from one of Jordan’s artists, The Holdup, too.

In addition to this we hear a track submitted from the international community and of course, you find out how to win £$€200 in studio credit.

The Pirate Podcast is a bi-monthly show spotlighting emerging talent from within Pirate's global network of DJ, recording, and rehearsal studios. We speak with artists, promoters, managers and industry insiders about all things music and creativity.
