What happens when you eat an apple a day? You get a COVID vaccine, or something. Which is why Nathan is so chipper today. Also, a visit to the dentist is apparently a great time for some people. So is digging up relics from the past and reliving video games you never even played before. Tattered papers from a pre-digital era adorned with tales of Kings of Rivers and Ribbits as well as Hunter that require reckoning. Or something.

Also, we talk a lot about anime, specifically Doki Doki Literature Club. Spoilers from 1:06:40 to about 1:20:30 for that.

This is it. After all the character introductions, bumps, paths taken (and not), storylines started, villains created and problems introduced in the last 5 episodes, we finally reach an end. Or a beginning, as it were. Who will take up the mantle of Captain America? Should anyone? What will happen to this unstoppable band of super soldiers fighting for... equality? What about Elaine?!

Nathan is back and in an extremely good mood. Is it medication? Is it profound happiness found within his life? Who knows? He talks about his turn around in his mental health over the last year, how COVID impacted other problems he was dealing with and, of course, the art of Sumo Wrestling.

Also, apparently Mario 35 was one of the best battle royale games? Is this hyperbole? Do we even know what that word means anymore? We catch up on some basic things, find out what weird crimes have happened near our homes, discuss the finer points of hamburger restaurants in Calgary and if Resident Evil: Deadly Silence is the best version of the original Resident Evil game (which it is, for the record).

John Walker messed up. But he ain't giving that shield back without a fight. Too bad it's hard to hold onto a shield with a broken arm. After getting a slap on the wrist, he meets up with a strange character played by Elaine (and that's all she'll ever be to me). Bucky leads the Wakandans to Zemo, who's paying respects to the Sokovia memorial (since he's the nicest villain ever now) and there's nothing left to do but fix that damn boat up!

Too bad the Flagsmashers are planning their biggest terrorism target yet, otherwise this was shaping up to be a nice little afternoon.

Ayo wants Zemo but allows Bucky to get what they need for 8 hours. Thank god in that time they're able to find Karli and the FlagSmashers, reason with her, mess it up, lose her, lose all the Super Soldier Serum and get their asses kicked. John Walker is back to screw everything up by being the world police he thinks he is but all is saved when the Dora Milaje come and beat him within an inch of his life. Too bad that crazy Zemo gets away... again.

Oh, and of course John Walker is able to pocket one Super Soldier Serum vial away from the others. But... he wouldn't be so dumb as to take it... right...?

The dynamite duo decide to talk to Zemo and, after very little deliberations, help him break out of prison since he seems like a pretty alright guy now. Actually, he just seems to know where he can get information about The Flagsmashers so with little hesitation it's off to Madripoor to talk to the criminal underground to get info they might have without offering anything in return (which always works out well).

Luckily, an old friend is hanging out in the city and together they find the creator of the Super Soldier Serum and get a lead on where Karli might be hiding out.

The new Captain America is here! John Walker does his rounds as the new Capt while Bucky is having none of it. He meets up with Falcon and hilarity ensues; they get the shit kicked out of them, visit an old super soldier and one of them gets arrested!

Also, we meet the leader of the Flagsmashers and get an inside look on who they are...

We're here, in a post WandaVision world to catch up with Sam "The Falcon" Wilson and Bucky "Winter Soldier" Barnes as they learn to deal with a world that either hates or forgot them.

As the world suffers the loss of Captain America, so too do his friends have to learn to cope. Worst of all, the world is seeing terrorist activity and unrest it hasn't before. Hopefully, the remaining members of The Avengers can fix things... or themselves.
