As anesthesia providers, we've all been with a nervous child at the induction of anesthesia. It can be a bit intense, to say the least! When we are given the opportunity to help a child overcome those nervous feelings, what do we do to help a child feel brave? 

Diane Miller, an accomplished CRNA, was faced with a child that was being forced to put the mask on for anesthesia.
