Sorry for posting so late in the week but I had a rough weekend. We played AWESOME music from some AWESOME independent artist's like Mick Blankenship, Poundtown Prophet, Icarus Fell, Theriaca & Shadow Of The Talisman. We also discussed The " Local Music Scene" here in Detroit, them damn political ads & yes I sent a message to Dylan Larkin from the heart. We have a awesome show for you this week. I started off with some Baseball music as I was in a baseball mood after spending time at Comerica Park Wednesday. Ok now that I got that out of my system lets get into the ROCK! We sort of previewed the Upcoming show at OddFellows this saturday night by playing Ray Street Park & The Creeping Chaos. We played Psychostick for Ted then we got on to a Dream Theater tangent & I couldn’t be stopped! I mean they are the greatest band ever! So that was pretty much the rest of the show as I can’t play just 1 Dream Theater song. Can’t wait for their 17th studio album. If I missed anything it can be heard by clicking the play button on the player & listening to whatever I left out.

We started off the show with 3 from Mick Blankenship cause his music's been stuck in my head all week. Then we thought why not play some of the bands on the bill at The Token 10/2. So we played Hamshackle & Days Of Disaster so you could hear some of what you'll hear at The Token Lounge. We also played Ray Street Park, Nothing New In Heaven, Valkries Fire, Shadow Of The Talsiman & of course Royal Bliss. We also had a technical glitch or in other words I muted the wrong channel. I left that in so you could laugh at my mistake.

1st Official "Podcast" was a success. We paid tribute to Dolly Parton, Tim Curry & a few others that have pasted this past week. We talked about the upcoming Icarus Fell Show & Played them as well. Well that was a HELL of a way too end the LIVE shows on tapdetroit.com! Always a good time when @JezterDetroit comes in studio BUT he brought along Brian from HALLOWEEN! WTF?! What a way to end the LIVE format. Thanks Brian for coming in sharing stories about Halloween & just the music scene in general. Holy COW! So obviously we played Halloween, Social Fever and we started off with 1 of my favorite local bands Belling The Tiger. We also played Royal Bliss to end the show as we always do.
