The hosts discuss social groups that they are involved in. Trevor and his wife host Bachelor viewing parties each week. He shares the mechanics of these events and some entertaining anecdotes. Pam talks about a group of retired teachers who meet monthly for dinner, crafts, games, and laughter. This group is called the Frienzies.

Ski Trip to Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia

Trevor shares some stories about a bachelor party and ski trip combo. He talks about skiing, snowboarding, hot tubs, food, injuries, and friendships.

Pam shares the highlights from her trip to Ireland. She talks about Waterford Crystal, Aran Islands, and a Dublin musical pub tour. She mentions her famous dinner companions at Ti Joe Watty… author, Lucy Taylor and glass blower Kurt B. 

Hobbies:

Fishing

Trevor shares a recent fishing trip with his cousins in an Inlet of the Outer Banks of North Carolina. They were fishing for Trout and Red Drums. He discusses fishing as a hobby while sharing stories about two boats and a little competition. He said “What I’ve noticed about most hobbies that are worth doing is it keeps you active enough that it doesn’t feel like work, but still keeps your mind active. It kind of makes you think about what you are doing rather than whatever stresses or troubles you might have.”

Scrapbooking

Pam shares her hobby of scrapbooking. She mentions Creative Memories as a brand she prefers for albums and pages. She talks about the evolution of scrapbooking in her life and her experiences at a scrapbooking retreat that she attends regularly. She shared the quote from a sign on her bookshelf, “Scrapbooking Reminds us that Life has been Good.”
