Our armed forces keep the peace and maintain the security of our country but their own futures are not secure. We don't take care of them too well when they retire. For example, 60 per cent of ex-servicemen in Sarawak are living below the poverty line. Over the years, many organisations supporting army veterans have been popping up to help them. The Evening Edition speaks to the president of one of those army veteran welfare organisations.
