The Plug-in Podcast

The Plug-in Podcast #7 - Diva, Shimmer, and more... by EDMMR.com

Join us this week to talk more VSTs, and find out about the free VST of the day!

The Plug-in Podcast is back. We cover 3 plug-ins we love in this show, and co-host Marty Lazar from StudioShrinkage.com is introduced!

In this episode Bill Stull from Legendary Audio, and James Anderson and Ralph Schachter from Sonic Studio bring us an incredible plugin called I.C.E.

I.C.E. is an acronym for In Case of Emergency. This plug-in is the perfect tool for mixing and mastering engineers and attacks audio problems such as distortion, hot spots, over-modulation, sibilance, resonant bass and guitar frequencies, overload, embedded digital harshness, clipping, vocal distortion, out-of-control cymbals, a generally unpleasant over-all tone, and other offending audio elements. And that's only a fraction of what it can do.

Guda Audio is a gem of a find! I was super happy to talk with developer David Gunnarsson about his line of Guda Audio plug-ins in this show. Of his products my favorite is EuterpeXL, the polyphonic synth with incredible oscillator features. His drum plugins, DrumR and KickR, are also highly badass as well.

I hope you enjoy our chat. And be sure to check out his line of plugs at http://gudaaudio.com
