The Plug Podcast...Music & More

This week, Bushy and Metal Mike sit down with rock and metal music fan, and comedienne extraordinaire, Courtney Cronin!  We discuss her love of rock and metal music, RockNPod, and her brainchild, Punchlines and Backlines.

What makes a comedian take musicians, and put them on a stage with a mic and have them tell jokes?  And why on EARTH is it so much fun?

Bushy and Metal Mike continue the Halloween tradition, sitting down to discuss the debut album from King Diamond, entitled Fatal Portrait.

Released in 1986, it was the birth of the King Diamond band, after leaving Mercyful Fate to pursue his solo career.

Loaded with killer riffs and eerie vocals, does this album measure up to the Fate stuff, and how does it compare to later compositions by King Diamond and company?

Enjoy!  And Happy Halloween!!!

This week, Bushy and Metal Mike sit down to discuss the 1994 release from Nailbomb entitled Point Blank.  A band consisting of Andreas Kisser and Max Cavalera should be a no brainer of a win!  Right?  Tune in to find out!

This week, Bushy and Metal Mike decided to honor the King of Rock N' Roll.  Since it was the 48th anniversary of Elvis' death, we count down our top 10 Elvis songs of all time.

This was a lot of fun, and much more difficult than we both expected it to be.  Please like and subscribe to our YouTube Channel.  David Tyler, aka Scapegoat, has been doing an amazing job with our video editing!

This week, Bushy and Metal Mike sit down to discuss the brand new album from the Alice Cooper Group:  The Revenge of Alice Cooper!  This is the first time the entire band has recorded an album together since "Muscle of Love" in 1973.

Has it been worth the wait?  Or is this just another sad cash grab by an aging legacy band.  Do the songs hold up, or are they campy and ridiculous?

We give our thoughts as we discuss the album track by track, giving our very own pathetically subjective opinions!  Enjoy!

This week, Bushy and Metal Mike sit down with Steven Gier, aka DJ Madness from Cranium Radio.  What makes him tick?  Where did he get the "music bug"?  And why is his take on Music From The Elder the ONLY correct take on the planet?

Sit back, as we dive into all that makes Madness tick, and check him out every Monday at 8pm Eastern for Sonic Lunacy ONLY at www.craniumradio.com!

And remember....Music From The Elder!

This week, Bushy and Metal Mike are joined by Bill Roseberry, to discuss the tragic passing of a true ICON!  We discuss the creation of the music we love so much, a bit of back story on our history with the OZZman.  We reflect on what the music scene will look like, post-Ozzy.

A heartfelt tribute to the man that helped create an entirely new genre of music.

R.I.P. to an ICON, Mr. John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne.

Things get heated this week as Bushy and Metal Mike sit down with Marc Alden Taylor to discuss Superman 2025!  We discuss the film in depth, commenting on whether it stands as a great film, an ok film, or a pass film.

We talk about Superman through the ages, giving credit (and sometimes taking credit away) from those that have portrayed the man of steel on screen in the past.

We discuss the political tone (or PERCEIVED tone) of the film.

Hit or miss?  You have to listen to find out.

Check out Marc on both the Free Form Rock Podcast and the BS Sessions.  Also, tune into the Free Form Rock Show at 10pm Tuesdays at CraniumRadio.com.

This week, Bushy and Metal Mike sit down with founder of Cranium Radio to discuss the station, the growth and how everything began.  We laugh about our time working together at TMS, and talk a lot about music and the different genres!

There are a LOT of great things happening at Cranium, so we encourage you to check out the station, and support music in all its forms!
