93.7 The Fan Penguins Analyst Tyler Kennedy joins the show! TK gives the trade a B-. He is the first person to have a somewhat negative reaction to the trade. He is unsure of what is next for the Penguins. Do the call up Sergey Murashov and send Skinner down? He is waiting to see the other falling pieces before giving a full grade.

Tristan Jarry has been traded to the Edmonton Oilers for Stuart Skinner, Brett Kulak, and a 2029 second round pick. Poni and Mueller grade the trade. Both say that this is a home run and a slam dunk of a trade. Kyle Dubas has turned around his reputation with one move. He started off slow but has redeemed himself as time went along.

The latest on TJ Watt. It sounds like he will NOT play Monday, according to the biggest insider in football. In fact, Adam Schefter made it sound like it would be a borderline miracle for the Steelers to get their star edge rusher on the field.

Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. Ray is having a hard time thinking TJ Watt will be able to play Monday night, but it won’t be because he doesn’t want to. Ray isn’t ready to rule Watt out yet with a few days to go before the game. What caused this to happen? Ray didn’t want to speculate, but he brought up a similar situation with Jerome Bettis before a playoff game in 2001. If Watt can’t go, Ray said the Dolphins have a truly threatening run game. Does Ray think they can backfill there? Ray believes there is a real chance Roman Wilson does not play again this season. Ray went through some of the other injuries on the report from this afternoon and who they could be getting back, like Derrick Harmon. Ray thinks the Steelers win.

It sounds like Derrick Harmon will be back on Monday night. Given the defensive rushing stats, they will welcome him with open arms. The numbers make the argument that Harmon is the team’s MVP. They allow roughly 100 fewer yards against the run with Harmon in the lineup. The guys talked about the draft structure that has changed since Kevin Colbert retired and why they like the working relationship between Omar Khan/Andy Weidl and Mike Tomlin throughout the process that culminates in late April. A review of their 2024 draft class looks good, for the most part, nearly 2 seasons complete.

KDKA TV’s Bob Pompeani joined the show. Bob reacted to the TJ Watt health scare that took place earlier this week and how much that impacts the game on Monday night. Bob is excited to see Nick Herbig see an uptick in snaps and wondered how much we see Jack Sawyer. Was Bob able to spell Tua Tagovailoa on-air? The guys asked Bob to rank the Steelers edge rushers by how they are playing right now. Injuries aside, Bob thinks the Steelers will win Monday night.
