Will Aaron Rodgers show up on Wednesday at the Pat McAfee ‘Big Night Aht’ event? Mark Kaboly told The Morning Show it will not happen unless Rodgers news breaks before the show. Donny and Chris are thinking about this as wrestling fans – with Kaboly and McAfee both having ties to wrestling – and that anytime people are repeatedly told “______ will not be here tonight,” they usually are. Poni isn’t counting on the news breaking on Wednesday night. If it doesn’t happen then, when will it? Is there pressure on that show Wednesday night?

The Pirates were a blown save/extra-inning collapse from being swept by the Yankees, which would have stood as the worst opening series at PNC Park in their history. It was still pretty bad. There are plenty of issues to go around. Bob Nutting also told reporters and fans that he is doing everything to build a winning baseball team. OK. The Pirates also have one of the worst GMs in baseball – that is a talking point.

Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. Ray doesn’t think the Steelers missed out on trading for Joe Milton this morning and thinks they could draft a similar player later this month. Ray expects the Steelers to draft a QB whether or not they get Aaron Rodgers. Ray isn’t very impressed with this draft class of QBs. Ray doesn’t see the Steelers using the 21st pick on RB unless Ashton Jeanty falls there. Ray still feels pretty confident the Steelers will take a DL in the opening round, which is 3 weeks away. The guys asked about the meeting with Aaron Rodgers and if they included anything about his current targets. Ray is still adamant that the Steelers want to get back into the 2nd round, the pick they traded for DK Metcalf. The guys asked Ray if there was anything knew with Rodgers. Which middle round QB would be best fit for what the Steelers do?
