In Podunk, a small town in Eagleland, there lives a sad boy with a strange name… 

Ninten Elliott, age 15, does little more than study for math tests and eagerly wait for his childhood to hurry up and end. All that changes when one fateful night, his bedroom lamp grows teeth and tries to bite his hand off! Ninten, accidentally discovering a great psionic power welling within him, now has to tangle with a freak alien occurrence and somehow rescue his sort-of only friend in the process: Lloyd Fahrquhar, scrawny, cowardly, and woefully ill-equipped to handle even a regular high school bully, let alone a murderous robot attack!

Will Ninten brave the opening salvo of “Queen Marie Antoinette” and her gang of feral household appliances? Will the Twinkle High School janitor hurry up and unlock the door to the rooftop already? And will Lloyd find a hiding spot at least thirty percent safer than the trash can?

It all starts almost a century ago, on a quiet night in a sleepy small town, a doting husband and wife who mysteriously up and vanished, and a man who, so some say, fell from the sky...

Ness can't believe it, but they even play baseball way way out in Winters! As the volunteer manager of the Snow Wood Boarding School Little League team, Jeff tries to introduce Ness to a few of the players, but some of them have rather peculiar names...

It’s over, at long last…

Ness’s fearsome foe is defeated, the world is saved, the Chosen Four are okay, we’re all gonna be okay!

Now then, boys and girls, just follow the bouncing ball, and a one and a two…

Now I take my backpack to the world

This is it! Everything has been leading up to this episode, this grand momentous battle. 

The Phase Distorter is complete, and now there is only one thing left for the Chosen Four to do: travel millions of years into the past and face Giygas, the Destroyer of Worlds... where he...

And he has... oh. Oh my...

We’re at the home stretch! Ness now has awesome psionic power crackling at his fingertips, and the only thing left to do is prepare for the final battle against Giygas, the Destroyer of Worlds!

With the help of Dr. Andonuts, and a few cute fluffy little friends, the Chosen Four decide to travel deep into the past and strike at Giygas at his weakest point. The only problem is, Dr. Andonuts needs a power source for his new machine, and the only one it can take is an extraterrestrial rock! Luckily, Ness knows exactly where to find a big rock that came from another planet…

Will the Chosen Four get their hands on a sample of the mysterious Zexonyte ? Will Ness’s newfound ice powers pull through for him in the end, or maybe Jeff’s newly-made Pencil Eraser AND Eraser Eraser, or maybe Paula’s ability to flip her eyelids back (probably not, but they’re all fun to do anyhow)? Will they have the courage to confront the entire Starman army, and its leader the Starman Deluxe, with a little help from his… family?!

Ness learned some mind-blowing truths about important people from his past and what he’s up against in his future. Now it’s time to get out of Magicant!

He has to cross a whole plain full of monsters from his nightmares, trek a whole ocean of black mucky slime, and face down his worst nightmare… Only then will he gain the power he needs to protect his friends and withstand the onslaught of the Destroyer of Worlds himself!

Will “Ness an hour from now” be able to count on “Ness an hour ago?” Will his courage, his red cap, and trusty Gutsy bat be enough for the ordeal? Will he finally unlock the secret to wielding psionic power?!

Ness wakes to find himself in a strange cartoon world, called Magicant. Existing solely within his own mind, created with the power of the Sanctuaries, unlocked with the Soundstone, and full of wacky visions of people he knew in waking life, good friends and bad friends, Ness wanders around the dream world and tries against all odds to make it all make sense. Worst of all, he has to do it while walking around completely… in his pajamas. 

But it’s not all just squeaky ground, huge vegetables growing like trees, and all his friends wearing ridiculous animal costumes. Here, Ness will encounter incredible truths about his friends, his family, his sworn enemy, even ugh, PORKY, and even his ultimate destiny, all while in this extremely silly place.

Will Prince Poo keep those tiger footy pajamas around? Will “steak flakes” stirred into a batter and baked in the oven taste just as good as the real thing? And will Ness discover the true reason why he was chosen to lead the four in the War Against Giygas?
