The Podcast Of Steel

Big question...In or out of the box?

Recently I was granted early access to watch this new documentary from DC Comics. Each episode is filled with fascination information, footage and interviews with the talented heroes that have worked for DC Comics over the decades.

Watching this series has given me a closer connection to the heroes and stories I’ve enjoyed over the years. I now have even more respect for the talented creators who have worked behind the scenes.

Superpowered: The DC Story launches on Max on the 20th of July.

The world has been getting accurate information from The Flash Film News channels for quite some time.

They’ve been sharing updates, news, videos and images whilst also being fans.

I got to sit down and speak with them about how the channel began, the importance of integrity when it comes to sharing news and the film itself. The good and the not so good.

I’ve been a fan of Rym Slim’s art for many years and it was great to sit down and talk about his journey and about his life as an artist.

We talked about finding his style, plagiarism, learning through practice and about how his work has evolved.

What makes this episode even more special is the art he created while talking to me. Rym created some amazing Superman live as we were talking and I can’t wait for it to be on my wall!

This episode was recorded in London and there are reviews, chats, updates, opinions and a meal! Recently I was invited there by Warner Bros UK to attend some exciting events and celebrate the release of The Flash movie.

Paul from DC World also invited me to Park Row, a DC Comics inspired restaurant, to try out their “Worlds Collide” menu which was created to help promote The Flash release. Spoiler Alert: I am fully in love with Big Belly Burgers!

This episode is as stuffed with goodies as I was after the trip to Park Row!

The Flash is out now.

On this episode I talk about my fantastic weekend at Portsmouth Comic-Con.

There are interviews with some of the crew, reporters, stall-holders and guests.

This event is something I look forward to every year and in the future it’s going to get bigger and better.  It truly is the staple for what Comic-Cons should be like.

Amie is a passionate cosplayer and is a member of Dream Team Portsmouth, a group of cosplayers from the South Coast who appear at events and being characters to life.

Amie (also known as “Princess And The Sea) will be at Portsmouth Comic Con with her cosplayer team entertaining the visitors at Portsmouth Comic Con this weekend.

Portsmouth Comic Con is back on the 3rd and 4th of June and I can't wait. I have supported this event over the last few years and I will for many more to come. It's a classic event that really gets what a Comic Con should be like. I love it!Curt Hill is one of the heroes in charge of organising Portsmouth Comic Con and it was great to hear the passion he has for this event and what will be happening this year. Listen closely to hear how I will be helping out this year!
