Some seasons of life don’t ask us for answers.
They ask us to be present.
This episode is probably one of the most vulnerable I’ve recorded yet.
I’m reflecting on grief — both the grief I’ve already lived through and the grief I’m learning to experience awake. On watching someone you love move through vulnerability. On my brother getting married. On family, friendship, milestones, growing older, and realizing just how quickly life moves.
And somewhere in the middle of all of it, I keep returning to the same questions:
Who am I today?
Who have I always been?
And where is all of this leading?
There’s something beautiful about admitting that we don’t always know.
Because even when my mind has no idea where I’m going, there’s a deeper part of me that seems to know the way.
My heart knows.
This episode is about transition, imperfection, love, loss, intuition, and allowing ourselves to become whoever this next season is asking us to be.
No perfect conclusion.
No perfectly packaged lesson.
Just an open heart, an open mind, and another page of this very public-not-public video journal.
How many doors have you walked away from simply because you assumed they'd be locked?
I'm admitting something I don't say often: the same perfectionism that helps me create is the exact thing that convinces me to hide what I've made.
While driving to a hot yoga class, one of the practices I return to for presence and surrender, I found myself in the middle of one of the greatest reminders.
You can assume it won't work out and walk away, or just show up and see what happens.
Like this podcast in sorts.
The challenged and storms show up in our lives not to punish us, but to reveal where we still aren't solid.
There are no tidy conclusions here. I'm sharing a real-time reflection, unfinished (still in its unfolding), a little messy, on what it looks like to keep showing up even when the doubt never fully leaves, and when the house might still be a mess.
An invitation to walk up to the door anyway, to trust that what's meant for you will find a way to stay open, and to remember that even your most imperfect moments may be exactly on time.
What parts of yourself have you been hiding because you were afraid of how they would be received?
In E 2, I’m peeling back a few more layers and sharing some of the parts of my story that have felt the most vulnerable to bring into the public eye.
While painting, one of the most personal and intimate forms of expression in my life, I explore my relationship with creativity, perfectionism, dyslexia, grief, loss, self-worth, faith, and the fear of not being good enough.
This episode is also an exploration of time, the way loss can change how we move through life, the mentors and teachers who shape us, the experiences that form us, and the possibility that even the most difficult parts of our story may have something to teach us.
There are no perfect conclusions here. I’m sharing thoughts, beliefs, questions, memories, and theories that I’m still living through, still questioning, and still learning from.
An invitation to create without attachment, to become curious about the parts of yourself you’ve judged or hidden, and to remember that maybe there is no mistake in what makes you, you.
What happens when a dream keeps coming back until you finally listen?
In the very first episode of The Podcast by Dunia Darwiche, I’m inviting you into something I’ve dreamed about, journaled about, talked about, recorded, abandoned, recreated, and promised myself I would bring to life for years.
While painting, one of the greatest loves of my life, I share why I finally decided to stop waiting for the perfect name, perfect moment, or perfect version of myself and simply begin.
This episode is an introduction to my world: creativity, intuition, spirituality, grief, transformation, faith, identity, vulnerability, courage, and the beautiful contradictions that make us human.
There are no promises of perfect answers here. This podcast is an exploration, an invitation to stay open-minded, open-hearted, take what resonates, and leave what doesn’t.
Welcome into my world (Dunia).

Have you ever spent years procrastinating, on the one thing you know would change your life?
Signs everywhere. They have shown up, pointing you back into this…
You might even attempted starting it. Taking a few steps just to put it down again. But really just the mere thought of not following through, or failing, or worse putting yourself out there truthfully, raw, authentic and real, and the risk of being rejected for it (this truest version of you) keeps you away. Away from ever actually giving it a real shot.
So this. This very podcast is dedicated to those dreams. The ones that lay there semi-dormant at the back of our closets, far tucked away on our hard drives, or only come out during late night conversations with a friend that manages to somehow pull all that dusted gold out of you.
Because the truth is your dreams will haunt you till you give them loxygen and let them breathe through you.
And I have way too many miraculous souls in my life that leave me in awe, they also happen to have so many stories that have had such a profound impact on my life and it would be my greatest privilege to share them with you all.
Yes many many many have heard about this dream of a Podcast. And the excuse was waiting for the perfect name. It needed the “right title” - just a fancy excuse for hiding behind a perfectionistic tendency to delay shaking in my boots in front of a mic.
So the fanciest title really turned out to be “The Podcast” by Dunia Darwiche.
What will be talking about on “The Podcast”? Life.
To be expected:
- Various opinions -> changes in perspectives
- Unfiltered conversations - real, raw, human
- Miraculous stories - reminding us that life is miracle
- Entertainment and lots of healthy self-deprecating humour
Take what resonates - contemplate
Leave what doesn’t.
Enjoy
