Episode 55: It has been a crazy few weeks with the release of some of the best films of the year so far, so the TPSB crew have had their hands full (not that we're complaining!) Okja has definitely made it into our list of best films for the year so of course, we had to do a review. Okja is Directed by Bong Joon-ho and stars Tilda Swinton as the CEO, Jake Gyllenhaal as an out of breath tv presenter (not a joke) and Seo-Hyeon Ahn as a tiny human being and Babe as Okja.

Episode 54: After much hype, we finally got to see Edgar Wright's new film 'Baby Driver'! This movie has been heralded as one of the greatest of 2017 and the TPSB boys have been itching to see it and find out if all the hype is deserved. Having already made it to the top spot in Ben's top 5 movies of 2017 (without him actually having seen it), this movie had a lot to live up to! Baby Driver stars Ansel Elgort as a driving baby, Lily James as everyone's crush for the next 6 months, Jamie Foxx as gangster Jamie Foxx, Eiza Gonzalez and Jon Hamm as that couple that makes people uncomfortable to be around, Kevin Spacey as crime boss Underwood and Jon Bernthal as trademark ambiguous punisher

Episode 53: It's Sunday, so it's time for our weekly show! But this week we decided to switch things up... The TBSB crew is continually trying to be the best movie podcast we can be, so to keep things fresh we're changing the structure of our weekly show a little (don't worry, we'll still talk movie news of the week!)

This week we talk about Dunkirk's new trailer and 70mm wide release, we discuss recent comments made by director Matt Reeves about his upcoming Batman film(s) and we talk about what other trailers dropped this week in Trailer Time (Geostorm, Atomic Blonde). We also take a look back at what film came out 7.5 years ago, George gives his Top 3 picks for beginners getting into director Christopher Nolan's filmography and we answer another question of the week. Episode 52: Spidey is back baby and we've finally seen it on the big screen! George, Connor and Benny sat down right after seeing Spider-Man Homecoming and recorded an in-depth, hour-long review for the film. This is one of, if not THE most hyped film of 2017 and rightly so, this is Spider-Man's first solo film in the MCU. But did it make the cut? Listen to find out what we thought!

In this episode, we wanted to loosen things up, crack open a cold one and discuss all the best and worst films that we've seen in the first half of this year. Because the beer was a-flowin, we may have run a little over time on this one, so we've broken it into 2 parts! In our first episode we touched on the films we have most enjoyed and this revolves around ones we less than enjoyed! We hope you enjoy and please, don't judge us too hard... we drank a lot of beer.

Well, it's another week in the world of movies which means it's another week that we get to discuss the latest news regarding Lucasfilm and their ever-worrying Han Solo project. Poor George tries to keep it together while his beloved Star Wars looks more and more like it's in trouble. BUT, in happier news, Matt Reeves' 'War for the Planet of the Apes' has received massive praise, which considering how this year's blockbusters have been performing is happy news indeed! Episode 47: At last, we have finally received the sequel we never asked for! Transformers: The Last Knight is the 5th Transformers film in a franchise that seems less and less concerned with actually making good films... Joy! 

In this episode, we try and make sense of Micheal Bay's (so he says...) final instalment and prepare ourselves for the wave of  Transformers films we're gonna get over the next decade.

Transformers: The Last Knight stars Mark Wahlberg as a guy driving a thinly veiled plot, Anthony Hopkins playing the guy you look at and think "oh god why are you in this film?", Josh Duhamel as the guy you look at and think, "god, I know exactly why you are in this film...", Laura Haddock as Hot Transformers Chick #4 and Isabela Moner as a girl with zero relevance to the plot.
